Star Wars Party

Star wars party games:

The Star War saga continues to enthrall and remain etched in kid’s minds long after they have come out of the movie hall. And, when one has decided to host a Star War party theme of course the games and activities must revolve around them. These party games can have all the characters and the entire universe in them. However, one does need to plan them beforehand and probably run a dry run to see how they flow.

One could actually look at all the traditional and tried and tested games that kids enjoy playing whatever era they were born in. Then go on to customize them according to the Star Wars theme and bingo, one has their game ready in a jiffy.

Let us look at a few games that are easy to put together and great fun for the kids.

Dumb charades: Kids have always loved dressing up in imaginary characters and portraying them. This game of dumb charades will enable them to choose their favorite character and dress like them using the props available. These props can be made from recyclable paper and serve the purpose of getting the kids thinking out of the box. They could also choose their character at the beginning of the party and act and spout dialogues throughout the party. By the end of the party everyone must guess who they are.

Treasure Hunt: Does this game ever go out of vogue or receive less enthusiasm when played. Never!

Send the kids on a Star Wars treasure hunt to uncover and retrieve all the treasure that the Star Forces will need. Also, one can further customize this game according to the number of players and their age along with the level of difficulty too. One could customize this further by giving them relevant hints, one hint leading to the next and at the end they get to the characters or spaceships.

Clone races: Divide the group into different clones and line them up. Allow them to run races. The teams that complete first will get to allocate forfeits to the others on the next team. All of the forfeits must revolve around the Star wars theme of course. One can use this same format for other traditional games too like sack race, lemon and spoon, bounce the ball. This game will not only bring the excitement of the theme but also allow the kids to expand their energy and build up on team bonhomie.
